Star Hospital 15th & 16th Annual General Meeting 2026

Shareholders, board members and senior consultants gathered at Star Hospital's Sanepa campus for the combined 15th and 16th Annual General Meeting, reflecting on more than eighteen years of continuous growth since the hospital's founding in 2007.

A year of milestones

The board presented updates on patient volumes, the expansion of the 22 specialty centres, and continued investment in diagnostic and surgical infrastructure. Directors also reaffirmed the hospital's founding promise — "Compassionate Care With Comfort" — as the guiding principle for the years ahead.

Looking forward

Plans discussed at the meeting include further upgrades to the emergency and trauma department, additional fellowship-trained consultants across cardiology and neurosciences, and continued community outreach through free health camps across the Kathmandu Valley.
